The Sheep Say Hello

Hey folks,

Just a quick hello from New Zealand - we're at one of these internet cafes. Basically it's a Macintosh with Eudora and Netscape.  This is costing me a dollar so you'd better enjoy it.

We just finished up five days of biking on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand.  It's been beatiful and amazing - and my butt is really sore from being on a bike.  But now we're hopping on a bus to then catch a ferry and make it to the South Island.  The city we're in right now is Gisborne, the closest one to the international date line.

The Youth Hostels have been okay, the campsites have been awesome, and the people and sheep are very friendly.

You should all be receiving a postcard from me if I remember to send or write any.

Anyway, take care of yourselves, and I will talk to you all when I get back to "the states."

This email's pretty flash, no worries, eh?

That's my best attempt at fluency in the language they speak down here. Also, don't reply to this.  I won't ever get the message.  (If he did get it, it would cost $1 for us to read it, according to the sign above this Mac. that's more than it costs for our new favorite delicacy - lamb-flavored yogurt.  -Krista)

Later,

BJR ( & Krista)
